sPrul’khor – Apparitional Circle

sPrul’khor, pronounced ‘trül-core” is part of one of the series of physical meditations of the Aro Tradition. It is beneficial for fitness, strength, flexibility and stamina and these classes are suitable for people of average fitness.  Practice of these yogas results in a change in the way we perceive and relate to the physical world.

sPrul’khor is based on the five elements of the Aro Buddhist tradition and the five animals which inhabit these elemental realms.  By practising sPrul’khor Yoga we gradually release our habitual, physical conditioning and our perception of the world becomes more vivid and radiant. We become able to recognise a connection between the external manifestations of the elements and our inner emotions and perceptions.
